Cheer for Sheffield Letting Market with Three Big Deals
With recent lets to three major media companies, Sheffield is making waves in the letting market. 6,500 square feet of office area was leased recently for the Turner’s Investment development at MidCity House. This lease was negotiated by the letting co-agents of Knight Frank and Lane Walker.
Sheffield Office partner at Knight Frank, Tom Bottrill, highlighted the business-friendly features of the MidCity House due to its impressive strategic location and it being close to many facilities right in
The three media firms to have let office space in the complex are advertising and marketing firm named Rapture Promotions, a software design company named 3squared, and a website hosting company named KDA Web Services. Rapture Promotions leads the others in terms of the amount of space acquired, having let an impressive 4,500 square feet of office space with plenty of rent a desk facilities in the closing stages of negotiations.
The completion of the crucial second phase of the redevelopment project has been achieved with the letting of the new office space and the construction of a new glass reception area to the entrance of the building.
With between 800 to 8,000 square feet large vacant suites spread across the second and third floors to let, the MidCity House owners will be a little disappointed. This is despite the fact that the building is close to both the Orchard Square shopping complex and the Heart of the City initiative, which gives it a distinct advantage.
